Rohit Shetty’s team lent clarification on the reports doing the rounds through an official statement and also shared some details about the upcoming film.

It read, ‘There have been many speculations doing rounds about the starcast in Rohit Shetty’s next directorial, Singham Again. The film is currently in pre-production. production. We kindly request the media to refrain from making any premature announcements at this stage. We will be making an official star cast announcement soon.’
Vicky was supposed to play the role of Ajay Devgn‘s character Bajirao Singham’s brother in the film who is also a cop. However, the actor reportedly opted out of the film because his dates clashed with his ongoing project, ‘Chhava’. Rohit reportedly wanted Ajay Devgn,
Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal to shoot a special sequence for the film.
Vicky was last seen in ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ co-starring Sara ali Khan. The film received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. He will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Sam Bahadur’.
