Ameesha Patel makes allegations against ‘Gadar 2’ producer, says ‘artists, food bills were unpaid’ – Times of India

Ameesha Patel will be reprising her role of Sakina in ‘Gadar 2‘ along side Sunny Deolwho plays Tara Singh. The sequel to Gadar is set for release soon and as a countdown to that, the makers had released ‘Gadar’ in theatres again. Recently, a new version of ‘Udd Jaa Kaale’ from ‘Gadar 2’ has been unveiled and fans were left concerned as they saw Sunny sitting besides a grave.Fans thought it’s Sakina’s grave. But the actress tweeted and clarified it.
Ameesha wrote, “Hey all my lovely fans!! Too many of u have been concerned n worried with this shot from GADAR 2 thinking it’s SAKINA who is dead !! Well it’s not !! Who it is I can’t say but it’s not SAKINA !! So pls don’t WORRY !! ????????????love u all”

The actress further called out Anil Sharma’s production house and made some allegations on them. Ameesha wrote, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of GADAR 2 that took place end May in CHANDIGARH!! 1/4. There were certain queries that many technicians like make up artists, costume designers n others etc did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!! Yes they did not !! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a v professional company! 2/4″

Ameesha made allegations that the food bills were left unpaid and even cars weren’t provided for certain members of the cast and crew. “Yes from accommodation, to transport to Chandigarh airport on the final day to food bills were left unpaid and cars were not provided to certain cast and crew members leaving them stranded ! But yet again @zeestudios stepped in and corrected these issues caused by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS!!! 3/4”.

The actress added that, “All involved in the film are aware that the production of GADAR 2 was being handled by ANIL SHARMA PRODUCTIONS which unfortunately misfired numerous times.”

‘Gadar 2’ is set to release on August 11. The film was supposed to clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol starrer ‘Animal’ but this Sandeep Reddy Vanga film has now been pushed further.
