Amazon has finally announced dates of its upcoming Republic Day sale. Dubbed the Great Republic Day sale, it will start on January 17. It will be a four-day long sale that will end on January 20. Earlier this week, Amazon teased the upcoming sale on its platform via a web page. The banner— ‘Big savings for everyone’ — on the Amazon page stated that Amazon customers will get offers like easy returns, free delivery on first order and pay on delivery options in the sale. Early access to the sale for Prime members
As always, the sale will begin 24 hours early for Amazon Prime members. Amazon Great Republic Day sale will start on January 16 for the Prime members. Cost of Prime membership starts at Rs 179 per month.
10% discount for SBI credit card holders
For the upcoming sale, Amazon has partnered with SBI Bank to offer an instant discount of 10% on purchases made using the bank’s credit card. Separately, there will be an additional cashback of up to Rs 250 on first purchase.
More than 80 new product launches
As per Amazon teaser page, the sale will see more than 80 new product launches across categories from different brands. Some of the launches will include the OnePlus 9RT, Tecno Pop 5, Asus VivoBook 10 Pro and GoPro Hero 10 bundle.
Lowest-ever prices on smartphones
In the upcoming sale, budget smartphones will be available at a starting price of Rs 6,299. Best-seller mobile phones, on the other hand, will sell at a discount of up to 40%. Buyers will also be given a no-cost EMI purchase option. Deals on mobile accessories will start at Rs 69.
Best deals on over 20,000 TVs and large appliances
In the sale, refrigerators will be available at a starting price of Rs 6,990. Smart TVs and washing machines will be listed at up to 60% and 35% discount. Buyers will also be able to schedule delivery of appliances and opt for no-cost EMI for 24 months.
Up to 50% off on FireTV, Echo speakers and Kindle
Amazon teases to offer up to 50% off on Echo smart speakers in the Great Republic Day sale. Kindle e-readers will be up for purchase at a discount of up to Rs 4,300. Fire TV devices and Echo smart displays will be available at 48% and 45% off.
