‘Am in bits and pieces!’: Netizens troll Sanjay Manjrekar after Ravindra Jadeja overtakes commentator’s Test record
India’s Ravindra Jadeja got all mouths shut with his performance in the England tour. Now, he got netizens to troll commentator Sanjay Manjrekar for a very different reason.
The all-rounder surpassed former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar in terms of total runs in international Test cricket on Day 2 of the second Test against England at Lord’s on Friday.
The man came into action after the dismissal of KL Rahul and Ajinkya Rahane at the start of Day 2 proceedings.
Rishabh Pant and Jadeja tried to steady the innings for India, however, Pant too was dismissed for 37 runs. Jadeja carried on till the end and scored 40 off 120 balls till being dismissed by Mark Wood.
Amid all this, Jadeja had flicked Sam Curran’s delivery for a boundary and surpassed Manjrekar in terms of a total number of runs in Test cricket.
Soon fans started the troll fest as Manjrekar had scored a total of 2043 in his international Test career, while Jadeja surpassed him and currently has 2072 runs under his belt in Test cricket.

Jadeja has more test runs than Sanjay Manjrekar while batting at number 7 and below. Too good, from a bits and pieces cricketer! Let us not talk about his bowling and fielding numbers. #IndvsEng

As for the clash, India were dismissed for 364 despite getting a good start from Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and help from Virat Kohli, Pant, and Jadeja.
No one else contributed much as the rest got out in single digits. England will come in the bat after the innings break.
