Alvin Kamara is seen repeatedly punching a man in brutal beatdown in Las Vegas in new footage

NFL star Alvin Kamara is seen rearing back and repeatedly punching a man during a brutal altercation in new footage of the incident earlier this year.

Kamara was arrested in February immediately after playing in the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas for an alleged battery that took place inside The Cromwell Hotel and Casino.

Darnell Greene filed a lawsuit seeking over $10 million in damages in October, and claims the beating left him with disfigurements and mental anguish.

Prosecutors also allege the New Orleans Saints running back bragged about the assault just minutes after he left the man unconscious and bleeding on the floor.

The suit claims that Kamara ‘brutally beat’ Greene ‘without justifiable provocation’ when the two met while waiting for an elevator after a night at Drai’s rooftop nightclub on February 5.

In the new clip, obtained TMZ, a man, identified as Kamara by the outlet, can be seen wearing a light shirt and throwing punches repeatedly at a man, identified as Greene.

In the footage, Greene can be seen going to the ground from the blows, while  several other men jump into the attack by kicking and stomping him, before leaving.

The video appears to match photos that Greene’s attorneys provided as part of the lawsuit.

The unrelenting pummeling broke the victim’s orbital lobe and ‘severely injured his shoulder, back, and neck, and left him temporarily unconscious and helpless on the floor,’ according to the suit.

When Greene attempted to enter the elevator, Kamara ‘forcefully blocked him’ by putting an arms across his chest, which then led to the ‘brutal, violent assault.’

Kamara allegedly began punching Greene repeatedly in the head as he tried to run away.

Greene was knocked unconscious by the blows and fell to the floor, but Kamara and his crew, including Kansas City Chiefs corner back Chris Lammons, continued to beat the helpless man.

The NFL star personally punched Greene about eight times – three of which came when the victim was on the floor, according to the police report.

It was only when security staff at the nightclub intervened that the four men stopped their alleged attack on the victim.

Police said Greene did not punch, push or hit Kamara or the three men he was with during the alleged battery.

Greene’s lawsuit details how he will be affected in the future by the assault, including ‘physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, loss of caring capacity, past, present, and future medical expenses, permanent brain damage, physical disability, and loss of enjoyment of life.’

Pictures of CCTV footage found in the lawsuit show how the scene unfolded, including shots of Greene running from Kamara and lying unconscious for minutes after the assault.

Kamara and his friends then left in a black SUV before laughing among themselves and bragging about the incident, with Kamara allegedly saying ‘I connected with the ***** jaw so hard.’

Another of his posse cheered him on and said ‘That shit sounded like the ****** got hit with a baseball bat.’

But another also allegedly warned Kamara over his behavior and said ‘you tripping bruh, you can’t be doing **** like that,’ to which the NFL star responded ‘I know bro, but you know I can’t stop.’

His friend responded ‘You got to. You gotta figure that **** out. The wrong ****** catch you… you’re going to be in a lawsuit.’

The next day, Kamara played in the NFL’s Pro Bowl despite the Saints organization knowing he was wanted by Las Vegas police. The Saints said Kamara was already on the field by the time it was clear he was a suspect in the case.

Officers waited to arrest Kamara until after Sunday’s Pro Bowl because they were not able to identify him as the alleged assailant until more than 10 hours after the crime occurred.

He was then arrested and charged with charged with felony battery resulting in substantial bodily harm.
