Alia Bhatt spends ‘Satur-yay’ watching ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ with Edward as she gets ready for Hollywood debut film ‘Heart Of Stone’ – Times of India

Alia Bhatt spent a lazy Saturday morning watching movies and snuggling with her cat Edward.

The actress took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of herself lounged on her couch with her furball as he paid full attention to the television screen that had ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ playing.

The actress found some time at hand this weekend in between her shoot for Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-starring Ranveer Singh. The star is expected to wrap up work on the Bollywood romantic comedy before flying out to the UK to commence shooting her debut Hollywood film ‘Heart Of Stone’.

According to reports on Pinkvilla.com, Alia will join Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan on the sets around mid-May for a marathon schedule. She will be shooting the film up until the end of August after which she will move on to shoot Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Je Lee Zara’ with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in September.

Alia is also gearing up for a global premiere of her production debut ‘Darlings’ that is slated for its release on an OTT platform

That’s not all, the actress will also reunite with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the musical ‘Baiju Bawra’ which will see her starring opposite Ranveer Singh.
