Alia Bhatt says Ranbir Kapoor is constantly nervous that Raha will forget him when he’s travelling – Times of India

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married in April 2022. The couple who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary are doting parents to their little daughter Raha. They’re very protective of their baby girl and it’s a treat for their fans to see this side. While Alia is slowly getting back to work after Raha’s birth, it’s quite a task even for Ranbir to leave her home and go to work.
When he was promoting his film, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, he had confessed that it’s heartbreaking for him to leave Raha at home and go to work when she’s smiling at him. Moreover, he cherishes every little moment that he gets with her. Now in a recent interview, Alia has shared that Ranbir is constantly nervous that Raha will forget him when he’s travelling. Alia added that it’s adorable to see the two of them together because Ranbir has bulked for a little for ‘Animal’, so when he carries Raha, it looks like a giant picking up a little puppy. Alia revealed he’s such a hands-on father that it gets difficult for her sometimes to even hold Raha for a second.

The actress also shared what’s Ranbir’s most special bond with Raha and how the father-daughter duo spend time together. The actress shared that Ranbir is a very sensitive person and he’s become more sensitive after becoming a father. He dotes on her, says Alia. She said that most of the times, they spend time sitting at the window looking at the big green plant. Alia does the same with Raha in Ranbir’s absence when he’s travelling because Ranbir is nervous that she’ll forget him otherwise, said the actress.
Alia also revealed that she and Ranbir call Raha ‘Cheetah’. She said that Raha is such a lovely baby that if you smile at her, she will return it tenfold. She’s just starting to find he voice so Ranbir and Alia call her ‘cheetah’ because of all the tiny sounds she makes while trying to communicate. Just holding her close feels so important to the couple right now as they now she will grow up too soon and not want to sit in her lap or hang out with her mother anymore, says Alia.

Alia will be seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ next which will be her first film post Raha’s birth. Meanwhile, Ranbir has ‘Animal’ lined up, directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
