Alia Bhatt reveals Ranbir Kapoor hasn’t seen Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani yet but he has been involved in the journey | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are gearing up for the release of Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. During their promotional event on Friday, Alia revealed that Ranbir Kapoor has not seen the film yet but he has been involved in the filmmaking process.
At the event, Alia talked about RARKPK’s music, which has been composed by Pritam. The two songs Tum Kya Mile and What Jhumka? have already taken over social media platforms.
Speaking about Ranbir’s involvement in the film, Alia said she always drags him through the entire film’s journey. She revealed that Ranbir has been involved in the musical journey of RARKPK because he understands music a lot. He often gives his opinions about what will work and what will not.”Karan, Pritam Da and Ranbir together have given a fantastic album. So when the songs were being made during scratch, since then I’ve been making Ranbir listen to the songs, much to Pritam Da’s disapproval because he gets very protective of the song. But he’s really involved in the musical journey because he has a very, very strong instinct for sound. So when he heard Tum Kya Mile, he gave his opinion there only, that ‘this is good, this will really work’. So he’s actually, when I’m working on a film, I kind of, with my enthusiasm, take him through the journey along with me even if he has other things to do. I kind of drag him into it. He hasn’t seen the film yet. He’s going to see it next week,” Alia said.
Ranveer and Alia will be sharing screen space in Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani for the second time after Gully Boy. Directed by Karan Johar, the film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles. It is all set to hit the theatres on July 28.
