WWE star Alexa Bliss has revealed that she was diagnosed with skin cancer and is ‘all clear’ after undergoing a procedure.
Bliss has been missing from WWE programming in recent weeks after suffering defeat in her match with RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
It was unclear as to the reasoning for her absence since the Royal Rumble, but she has now come out and revealed that she had been diagnosed with skin cancer.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram to post a photo on her story showing a bandage on the side of her face.
‘Dear younger me, You should have stayed out of tanning beds,’ she posted before assuring her followrs that she has recovered. ‘All clear now though!’

Bliss was last in action in the WWE during a Royal Rumble event in January 2023
The wrestler went on to thank American Skin Institute for ‘taking great care’ of her during the procedure.
Bliss took to Twitter to reply to fans and provide further information on her treatment, as well as hinting that this was the reason for her television absence.
One fan said: ‘If that’s what I think it is I think i know why Alexa hasn’t been on tv recently. Hope you are ok now and we are here for you always’.
The WWE star responded: ‘Thank you! Don’t worry, short healing time. Always get your skin checked! Esp if you are in the sun or use tanning beds! Lol’
She then provided details on her procedure, stating that it was a ‘quick and easy’ experience as she’s glad to have got her skin checked.
‘There was a spot on my face yes- that had gotten worse. So went to get biopsy. Was basal cell carcinoma.
‘During my procedure doc also found other squamous cells. Was a quick and easy procedure. Glad I always get my skin checked’.
Bliss will be hoping to return to the WWE in the coming weeks after a stint on The Masked Singer, where she revealed her identity as Axolotl.
