A woman couldn’t resist sharing a snap of a tub of Aldi ice cream online after spotting a confusing detail.

Her picture of the tub shows the lid has an image of chocolate ice cream but the side of the container has a picture of vanilla ice cream.

She shared the image of the Silver Scoop ice cream to a popular Aldi Facebook group and it immediately sparked a barrage of comments, with people wanting to know what was actually inside.

“Don’t know what I got? Half half?” she asked fellow shoppers.

The post has since gone viral with people begging the woman to reveal what flavour is inside.

“Now I want to see what’s inside!!!” one woman commented.

“Yes do tell please,” said another, while a third added: “You got the mystery box!”

Others said the suspense was driving them “mad”.

“Following this post to see what you actually got it’s driving me nuts,” said another.

The Aldi shopper agreed to film the unveiling as many voted on what they thought was inside.

“Vanilla … with the wrong lid,” one Facebook user guessed.

“I think it’s creamy vanilla,” said another, while others guessed totally different flavours such as mint.

In the comments section, the Aldi shopper shared a video revealing that it was chocolate inside.

“Thank you so much for putting me out of my misery! Yummy!” one user wrote.

“YES!!!! CHOCOLATE! Thank you,” said another.

The Aldi shopper also added it was the flavour she wanted.

However, the reactions kept flooding in with one person playing on Aldi’s slogan.

“Good different is what you got,” they wrote.
