Akshay Oberoi shares his excitement to work with Piku co-star Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter – Times of India

Actor Akshay Oberoi is back in Mumbai after treating himself with a much-needed holiday in the US. He has some interesting projects lined up where he will be seen sharing space with some of the talented bunch of actors such as Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan and Sara Ali Khan.
After the worldwide success of Pathaan, director Siddharth Anand will now start shooting for his upcoming film Fighter, which stars Deepika and Hrithik in the lead. Akshay is also a part of the film where will be seen playing the role of an air force officer. The actor is also part of the movie Gaslight, which stars Sara Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey.

Sharing his excitement of working with Deepika, Hrithik and Sara in his upcoming films, Akshay said, “It is an exciting year. Lots of new and interesting work, with some amazing bunch of actors lined up. And acting is such a profession where you take inspiration from everywhere, even from your co-actors. I have worked with Deepika before in Piku and it’s nice to work again. Hrithik’s dedication towards work is quite infectious and Sara is a bundle of joy. 2023 is going to be a great year. I can feel it already.”

Akshay Oberoi made his debut in Bollywood with Rajshri Productions 2010 film Isi Life Mein. He then went on to work in films such as Piku, Laal Rang, Fitoor, Kaalakaandi, and many more.
