Akshay Kumar to shoot for Mudassar Aziz’s next with Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor from October onwards: Report | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Akshay Kumar is one of the most busy actors we have. It’s no news that he finishes three-four films in a year which not many actors can. This year, Akshay began shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and already started his next, the biopic on C Shankaran Nair with Ananya Panday. Now the latest buzz is that Akshay is going to start off with Mudassar Aziz‘s next from October.
Aziz is known for movies like ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ and ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ and his next movie also has elements of comedy. A report in Pinkvilla suggests that the film is titled ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and it’s a remake of the Italian comedy drama ‘Perfect Strangers’. The report also suggests that Taapsee Pannu and Vaani Kapoor are going to share screen space with Akshay in the film along with a huge ensemble cast. This film will be produced by Ashwin Varde and Bhushan Kumar. The actors will begin shooting the movie in October in a two-month start-to-end schedule in UK.
The Italian comedy drama ‘Perfect Strangers’ which released in 2016, revolves around seven long-time friends who gather for dinner and decide to play a game wherein they end up revealing their secrets. This further makes for some hilarious twists and turns. It would be interesting to see how the Indian version of this pans out. The actor has been on board for a while on this film but the shoot schedule was delayed since the actor had prior commitments.
Recently, ‘Housefull 5’ has also been announced and it sees Akshay with Riteish Deshmukh. However, the rest of the cast is yet to be announced. The film will reportedly go on floors in December 2023 or January 2024. It’s set for a Diwali 2024 release. Akshay is also touted to be a part of ‘Jolly LLB 3‘ with Arshad Warsi.
The actor will also be seen in the ‘Soorarai Pottru’ remake with Radhika Madan.
