Akshay Kumar teases Krushna Abhishek about ‘panga’ with Govinda, Sara Ali Khan bursts out laughing. Watch

Atrangi Re stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan will feature as guests on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. A snippet of the upcoming episode showed Akshay teasing cast member Krushna Abhishek about his long-running feud with his uncle, Govinda.

Krushna caricatures Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Dharmendra, Mithun Chakraborty and other stars on The Kapil Sharma Show. Making a reference to his various characters, Akshay quipped, “Kabhi nakli Amitabh ji banta hai, kabhi nakli Jackie. Sab nakli. Lekin mama se panga asli liya hai (Sometimes he plays fake Amitabh and sometimes, fake Jackie. Everything is fake. But his fight with his uncle is real).”

While Krushna tried to maintain a poker face, Sara burst out laughing at Akshay’s comment.

Since 2016, Krushna and Govinda’s families have not seen eye-to-eye with each other. Things came to a head earlier this year, when Krushna opted out of an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, featuring Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja.

While Sunita ruled out a reconciliation, Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah took potshots at her and said, “Waise aapko mujhe poochna hai toh Priyanka Chopra ka poocho, Katrina ka poocho, ye Sunita kaun hai. Maine khud apna naam kamaya hai. Meri pehchaan kisi ki patni ke roop mein nahi di jaati (By the way, you should ask me about Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif. Who is this Sunita? I have made my own name and I am not known as someone’s wife).”

Krushna’s fight with Govinda is often fodder for jokes on The Kapil Sharma Show. Last month, when the Bunty Aur Babli 2 cast came on the show, Krushna took a dig at his spat with Govinda and said, “Mereko film industry ka sab pata rehta hai, meri poori family film industry mein hai. Woh alag baat hai aaj kal main family mein nahi hoon (I know everything about the film industry, my whole family is a part of it. It is a different story that I am not a part of my family nowadays).”
