Akshay Kumar responds to Pradeep Mehra memes, says ‘if the meme is funny I laugh’ – Times of India

Now, Akshay Kumar has responded to these memes or people poking fun on social media. During a recent interview, the popular actor said that if the meme is funny he will definitely laugh on it. It’s quite normal because if the joke is good we will laugh. He also quipped who doesn’t like a good laugh?

Akshay further clarified that he sees these memes as a badge of honour because these things prove that he is still relevant and people can relate to him. He also feels that for years he has managed to carve a niche for himself playing a wide range of roles and he believes this how he has managed to stay relevant.

During the same interview the seasoned actor said that he has already seen the meme featuring Pradeep and revealed that it is a picture from his upcoming film ‘Raksha Bandhan’.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s recent release ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ has received a mixed response from the box office. The film, directed by Farhad Samji, revolves around an intense story of a goon called Bachchhan Paandey whose life changes forever as Myra Deveka starts making a documentary on his life. Apart from Akshay, the film also has Jacqueline Fernandez, Kriti Sanon, Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla in key roles.
