The actor is in Uttarakhand for the shoot of a movie and is taking time off from the sets to offer prayers at various temples. Videos and pictures shared on social media see the actor visiting Badrinath Dham amid heavy security. Huge crowds of fans gathered outside the temple to catch a glimpse of the actor and Akshay was seen greeting them all with folded hands. Take a look:
Ahead of this visit, Akshay had posted a clip from a helicopter ride and captioned it, “The good fortune of shooting in devbhoomi Uttarakhand!! On my way to Shri Badrinath dham. Absolutely amazing. No words. Jai Badri vishal (hail Lord Vishnu).”
Akshay Kumar is reportedly shooting for his upcoming film ‘Shankara’ in Uttarakhand and not much is known about this project. Apart from this movie, Akshay also has ‘Soorarai Pottru’ remake in the pipeline. He will also be seen in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, co-starring Tiger Shroff. This action entertainer is scheduled to hit the screens during Eid 2024. Akshay has also announced his association with the next installment of ‘Hera Pheri’, wherein he will reunite with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.
