Ajay Devgn joins Kajol at the trailer launch of ‘The Trial’, jokes that he faces actor trouble only at home – Times of India

Kajol will be making her OTT debut with ‘The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha’. The makers launched the trailer today at an event and Ajay Devgn who is the co-producer of the show, also joined his wife.
At the event, Ajay spoke about the mad team and how it was to deal with them as a producer. Ajay said it was very comfortable working these actors as they knew what work ethics are.He joked, “Actor troubles are only at home. Otherwise, it is a fabulous cast, fabulous actors, so it was lovely.”
Kajol was quick to add that there are no troubles anywhere. Their love banter was hard to miss. The actress who was last seen in ‘Salaam Venky’ spoke about making her OTT debut with this project. She said, “The answer is very simple, I have always thought that whenever I work, I will do something, which I enjoy the most, work with good people and that script will always be my hero. Whether it is an OTT platform or a film, for me a role is a role. In both the mediums, the work is the same, rather on OTT the work is a bit more, like there were eight episodes (in this show). The work is the same. I am not different in any which manner. So, for me it is not that difficult a choice.”
The actress plays a lawyer in the show who is asked to represent her husband who gets involved in a sex and corruption scandal. ‘The Trial’ also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chadha, Alyy Khan, Kubra Sait and Gaurav Pandey.
The show will begin streaming from July 14 onwards. ‘The Trial’ is directed by Suparn Verma.
