The Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty dream team has given a lot of successful films starting with ‘Zameen’ in 2003. Now the duo will be bringing ‘Singham Again’ which will also star Deepika Padukone in a cop avatar.
Recently, Ajay and Rohit Shetty began the preparations for their upcoming action film.
The film has been preponed to get a longer weekend at the box-office than the previous release date. Monday is Raksha Bandhan so that can give the film the added advantage of more audience on the holiday.
Earlier, during the launch of a song of the film ‘Cirkus’, director Rohit Shetty announced that Deepika Padukone will be the first female cop in the cop universe and he even called her ‘Lady Singham’. At the beginning of the new year 2023, Ajay Devgn also dropped a picture with Rohit Shetty and wrote that after hearing the script, he knows it will be their 11th blockbuster.
The cop universe started with ‘Singham’ which was released in the year 2011, and starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj in the lead roles, followed by ‘Singham Returns’ in 2014, and both projects were declared box office hits.
Ajay Devgn was seen in many memorable on-screen police characters. But ‘Singham’ won him a different level of fanbase.
