Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reacts on teaming up with Abhishek Bachchan again: It should happen – Exclusive – Times of India

Giving an update on the schedule of Ponniyin Selvan she said, “Mani sir has shot both the parts of the film. It was a pleasure working with him, as always.” The actress and director have together three times before. They had teamed up for Iruvar (1997), Guru (2007) and Raavan (2010).

Another collaboration that the fans have been waiting for is to see Aishwarya come together with her husband Abhishek Bachchan again. They have worked together in Guru, Raavan, Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Sarkar Raj, Dhoom 2 and many other movies. When asked about working with her husband Abhishek Bachchan again, Aishwarya looked up to the skies with hopeful eyes. She said, “It should happen.” Aishwarya is clearly hoping that a dream project materialises for her and Abhishek.

Despite looking forward to her return to the movies, she is still very much committed to the family. She added, “My priority is still my family and my child. I braved and stepped out to complete Mani sir’s Ponniyin Selvan, but that doesn’t change my focus for my family and Aaradhya.”
