Airtel increases the price of this monthly recharge plan by 57%: Here’s what the plan offers – Times of India
Last year, Airtel increased the price of its minimum recharge plan from Rs 79 to Rs 99 in select telecom circles. Now it appears that the company has once again increased the price of its minimum recharge monthly plan by 57%. Airtel has hiked the price of its minimum recharge plan from Rs 99 to Rs 155 in Haryana and Odisha. Now, the Rs 155 plan is the lowest prepaid recharge plan of the company. It is also expected that Airtel may roll out the same plan in other telecom circles soon.
What the Rs 155 Airtel plan offers
Earlier, the minimum recharge plan from Airtel offered 200MB of data and call rate of 2.5 paise per second. The plan was valid for a period of 28 days. However, after the upgrade, the Rs 155 plan offers unlimited calling, 1GB of data and 300SMS. The plan comes with a validity of 24 days. The plan also offers free Wynk Music and Hellotunes. The service provider has increased the benefits with the price hike but has decreased the validity by 4 days.

Recently, Airtel launched its 5G Plus service in Gurugram. Currently operational at DLF Cyber Hub, DLF Phase 2, MG Road, Rajiv Chowk, Iffco Chowk, Atlas Chowk, Udyog Vihar, Nirvana Country, Gurugram railway station, Civil lines, Ardee City, Huda City Centre, Gurugram National Highway and few other select locations. The service provider also mentioned that the 5G service is available for users at no extra cost.
