After superb performance at World Cup, Moroccan football player Sofyan Amrabat may move to new club in January 2023
Tottenham has made some changes in the midfield under Conte, taking in Yves Bissouma from Mali in the summer and Rodrigo Bentancur of Uruguay in January from Juventus. The Moroccan has had a phenomenal World Cup and his team beat Portugal with a single goal to head for the semi-finals.
Amrabat is probably making a £26 million move as Conte wants him in the Spurs, but with more people seeing his performance in the World Cup, it could be any team that finally gets him.
Both Bissouma and Bentancur are doing well in their respective roles for Hotspur providing the combination required to support Pierre-Emille Hojbjerg. Searching for another midfielder, Hotspurs focus on Amrabat to complete the quadrant.
It is reported that Amrabat wants to move from Fiorentina, the Serie A club, in January 2023. The footballer looks to go for the big move after the World Cup in Qatar concludes.
Spurs fans were not thrilled when the club targeted Amrabat in January and signed in Bentancur instead. There have been reports that Liverpool might pick up the Moroccan as Jurgen Klopp is highly interested in taking him on and securing the Liverpool midfield.
The midfielder helped Morocco to win against Spain and Portugal. It is to be seen what happens as Spurs are still hunting for that creative midfielder.
