After Seema Khan, son Yohaan tests positive for Covid-19; their building being sealed – Exclusive – Times of India

Earlier today we had reported that Seema Khan had tested positive for Covid-19. ETimes now has it that Sohail and Seema’s son Yohaan (10) has also been infected. Even Seema’s sister has tested positive for Covid-19.

ETimes further has it that where Seema and Yohaan stayed (Seema had Sohail have been living separately since two years now) has been sealed. In fact, the BMC officials are right now carrying out the process of sealing it. A decision has been taken that a large number of people residing in the building (Kiran Towers in Pali Hill) will have to undergo RT-PCR. Depending on number of other cases that test positive tomorrow (Report expected then), the seal will be unlocked of the remaining floors. However, Seema’s floor will continue to remain sealed.

When contacted Madhu Poplai, secretary of Pali Hill Association confirmed and said, “Yes, this is true. Let’s see how it pans out. We hope that everything settles down soon.”

According to ANI, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had stated that Seema was the first one who tested positive for Covid-19, post which Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora also got it. They had all reportedly attended a get-together party at Karan Johar’s house on December 8. Seema had minor symptoms and her report came positive on December 11. Soon after Kareena and Amrita got themselves tested and their reports also came positive on December 12. Apart from Seema Khan, Kareena’s building has been sealed. The BMC is now busy contact tracing..

We at ETimes wish Seema, her sister and her son Yohan a speedy recovery.
