Aditya Roy Kapur reacts to not being a part of ‘Aashiqui 3’, here’s what his co-star Anil Kapoor has to say | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Aditya Roy Kapur got a lot of accolades for ‘The Night Manager’ and now the second season of the show is set to release on June 30. The team had a press conference in the city today, to talk about the second season. It was attended by the cast and crew, including Anil Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome along with Aditya.
At the event, Aditya was asked about Kartik Aaryanreplacing him in ‘Aashiqui 3’ and the actor had the most hilarious response.He said at the event, “When I first heard ofAashiqui 3, many people asked me if I wanted to be a part of it. But at the end of the second part, I took a long swim (laughs)! So, I don’t think the character can return for the third part.” Aditya further added that he’s really looking forward to the film. “As a film watcher, I am really looking forward to seeing what they do with the next part. I am sure they’ll do a great job.”
But it’s Anil Kapoor’s response that stole the show! As soon as Aditya gave his response, Anil quipped, “Aashiqui 4 mere saath ban rahi hai, by the way (Aashiqui 4 is being made with me).” That left the crowds laughing.
Last year, ‘Aashiqui 3’ was announced with Kartik in the lead with the remixed version of iconic song from the 1990s ‘Aashiqui’, ‘Ab Tere Bin Jee Lenge Hum’ in the backdrop. The film is being helmed by Anurag Basu. The female lead of the film hasn’t been announced yet. But after much speculations, Mukesh Bhatt had said in an interview that they’re looking for a new face for the film.
Meanwhile, ‘Aashiqui 2’ was loved by fans for Aditya’s chemistry with Shraddha Kapoor and the film’s music! The film recently completed a decade. Hence, the expectations from the third part are really high.
