‘Adipurush’: The Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer gets a ‘U-Certificate’ from Censor Board | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Om Raut‘s Adipurush is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The film has been creating a lot of buzz ahead of its release. Now, the Kriti Sanon, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer has also received a U-Certificate from the Censor Board.
While the initial teaser of the film received a backlash for its poor VFX, its new and polished trailer has been receiving positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike. Amid its huge promotions, Tollywood producer and distributor Abhishek Agarwal in Telugu states announced that 10,000+ tickets would be given free to all the government schools, orphanages, and old age homes across Telangana by his team.

The film is reportedly one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, with over Rs 500 crore and cinematography by Karthik Palani. While its music is scored by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, its soundtrack is composed by Ajay Atul and Sachet Parampara. The film is jointly edited by Apurva Motwale Sahai and Ashish Mhatre.

The film stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Laxman in the film. Directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod, and Vamsi of UV Creations, the film is scheduled to release worldwide on June 16, 2023.
