Adipurush‘ recorded a good opening weekend at the box office. The Hindi version of the Om Raut directorial, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, crossed the 100 crore mark on Day three at the box office.
According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the film earned an impressive estimated collection of Rs 105 crore nett at the end of its first weekend.The film which opened to collections of Rs 35 crore, maintained a steady graph and saw no rise or fall in numbers. The report states that Adipurush earned Rs 35 crore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, thus taking its collections past the Rs 105 mark.

Trade experts state that the film didn’t see as much growth at the ticket windows in the Gujarat and Rajasthan areas as the states were affected by this Biparjoy cyclone.

While the numbers brought in from the Hindi markets were expected to be much higher, it is still a huge weekend for exhibitors across the country as Adipurush will have an estimated Rs 190 crore nett plus collection over the weekend.

Meanwhile, The makers claim that the film has minted Rs 340 crore at the global box office after allegedly minting Rs 100 crore globally on the third day of its release.
“‘Adipurush’ continues to captivate audiences across generations, crossing an astounding Rs 340 crores on the opening weekend at the box office! Jai Shri Ram,” T-Series said in a statement posted on its official Twitter page.

The multilingual 3D spectacle, which hit the theatres on Friday, stars Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita) and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan). The movie had a wide release in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil.
