‘Adipurush’ advance booking looks promising, over 10,000 ticked sold | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

The advance booking of the Hindi version of ‘Adipurush’ began on Saturday and witnessed a positive start. Around 10,000 ticked have been sold in two of the biggest national cinema chains, of which 60% booking are for the first day.
With these figures, it is ensured that ‘Adipurush’ (Hindi) will have a whopping start at the box office. If the film maintains this trend, the ‘Adipurush’ may well beat the advance booking of ‘RRR’ (Hindi).Current buzz is that this period drama will see massive footfalls in Hindi circuits.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ is adapted from Hindu epic Ramayana and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Devdatta Nage and Sunny Singh in lead roles. The director has requested the makers to keep one seat empty in every show of the film for Lord Hanuman. Speaking about the same, Om Raut shared, “My mom says, every time Ramayan is staged, Hanuman ji comes to watch it. So my request to Bhushan sir, Anil (Thadani, the distributor) sir, that for our Hanuman ji, in every show of Adipurush, one seat should be kept vacant. Everywhere in the world, wherever there is an Adipurush show, I request the producer and distributor to keep one seat for Hanuman ji, he will come to see Ramayan.” ‘Adipurush’ will hit the screens on June 16 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
