Adam Levine denies cheating on pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo; says ‘I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life’ – Times of India

“I did not have an affair,” the Maroon 5 singer wrote while denying he cheated on his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo, who is currently pregnant with their third child.

“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life,” Levine wrote in a statement posted on his Instagram Story.

While denying the allegations, he, however, went on to write, “In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”

He added, “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”

After Levine shared his post, the 23-year-old influencer, Sumner shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Someone get this man a dictionary.”

Sumner spilled the tea on the alleged affair in a TikTok video, stating that she only came forward with it now, as one of her friends attempted to sell the screenshots of her texts with the singer to a tabloid.

“I was having an affair with a man who’s married to Victoria’s Secret model. At the time I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated,” she said in the video.

Although at first, she didn’t name Adam, she later added, “Maroon 5 is practically elevator music at this point. So, I’m sure you know who Adam Levine is. Adam and I were seeing each other for about a year, after I stopped talking to him over a period of months, this is how he came back into my life.”

The Instagram model showed an alleged DM that she received from Levine in which he asked if it’s okay with her if he names his unborn baby after her.

“Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner (sic). You ok with that? DEAD serious,” read the message, with a shrugging emoji.
