Mollywood actress Mareena Michael Kurisingal’s father Michael K Kurisingal breathed his last on September 2nd, Friday. The actress shared a post via her Facebook handle, saying that her Father’s body was donated to a medical college in Kozhikode. Reportedly, Mareena Michael’s father was unwell for some time now.

Mareena Michael, who has played prominent roles in several Malayalam movies, took to her official Facebook handle on Saturday (September 2nd) and shared a picture of an organ donation certificate and penned a note saying that she feels proud of her father.

Mareena Michael’s Facebook post read, “So today is the proudest day of my life…My dear pappa donated his body to medical college…I got a superhero of my own and his name is MICHAEL KURISINGAL #bodydonation #bodydonationforresearch #medicalcollege #father #superhero #fatherdaughter.” The post was soon flooded with comments from netizens who were all appreciating the deed.

Earlier, Mareena Michael also shared a heartwarming picture of her parents via her social media handles during Father’s Day, and the actress penned a note that read, “wishn the most beautiful parents of mine “happy 31st anniversary” and happy fathers day to my pappa MICHAEL KURISINGAL”

On the work front, Mareena Michael’s previous outing was with the investigation thriller ‘21 Grams’ and the actress will be seen playing a major female lead in the upcoming Miya George starrer ‘Price of Police’ directed by Unni Madhav. Mollywood actors Shajon, Rahul Madhav, and Riyaz Khan will be also playing significant lead roles in ‘Price of Police’ which is touted to be a thriller.
