Abhishek Bachchan wishes his ‘main man’ Amitabh Bachchan a happy Father’s Day – Times of India

And like many other celebs, Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media handle to share a candid picture with his megastar dad Amitabh Bachchan showering his love towards the iconic actor with a few strong words which read: “Main man!!!Happy Father’s Day, Pa.Love you.”

Amitabh Bachchan has always backed son Abhishek in every phase of his life and guided him to choose the right path. The megastar once wrote on his blog how proud he feels to see Abhishek’s success. “With immense pride I do say that Abhishek is my ‘uttaradhikaari’ ..his continued efforts, at attempting different and dare I say difficult roles, to portray, are not just a challenge, but a mirror shown to the world of cinema, on his ability as an actor and for them to assuage his credibility and tenacity! They that criticise and ridicule the inability of another, for their inadequacy on a subject, do so, because they themselves do not have the capacity or the ability for the adequacy of the subject,” wrote an emotional Amitabh.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen in R Balki’s ‘Ghoomer’ alongside Saiyami Kher. Abhishek takes on the role of a cricket coach in the film, while Saiyami plays a woman cricketer. ‘Ghoomer’ also marks Abhishek Bachchan’s second collaboration with R Balki after the 2009 hit ‘Paa’.
