Abhimanyu Dassani: I hope people will look forward to watching my films in cinema halls – Times of India

While he says that it doesn’t matter to him if his films are releasing in cinema halls or digitally as long as it entertain the audience, Abhimanyu does hope that his art attracts people to come to cinema halls to see him perform on the big screen.

He says, “I do hope so. As a performer my efforts have been 100 percent in every film that I have taken up. I hope that people will look forward to watching me on the big screen and I will be able to give them two hours of entertainment. Something that they feel good watching and it leaves them with a smile.”

In an earlier chat with BT, Abhimanyu had said that at a time when people are used to watching national and international content at home on their mobile phones, it will be tough to attract them to come to cinema halls. The actor who will now be seen in Shilpa Shetty Kundra starrer Nikamma and Paresh Rawal starrer Aankh Micholi, had said, “I must add that the ability to get people to shell out that money, take out that time and travel to come to watch your film in a cinema hall is also commendable.”
