Aamir Khan’s latest release ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is a remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. The film has been the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons. According to a report, the film has done fair business overseas over its extended weekend.

The BoxOfficeIndia report stated the movie has earned a little over $4 million overseas. Here, take a look at the film’s collection in the first four days:

US / Canada: $1,800,000

United Kingdom: $475,000

Gulf: $800,000

Australia: $525,000

ROW: $500-600,000 approx

Total: $4,150,000 approx

On the other hand, the movie earned Rs 10.25 crore at the box office on Sunday making the total collection Rs 37.75 crore in India.

Meanwhile, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been facing flak from the masses for Aamir’s past controversial statement. Also, a Delhi-based lawyer has submitted a complaint to Delhi Police commissioner Sanjay Arora against the actor and the producers of the film for allegedly, “disrespecting the Indian Army and hurting Hindu Sentiments.”

Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. The film was released in theatres on August 11.
