Recently, it was learnt that Aamir Khan had an issue with his height when he entered the industry. In a video clip that has gone viral on the internet, Aamir mentions that he was worried people would call him ‘tingu’.
The viral video clip is from the time when Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor were promoting their film Talaash and suddenly the interview hovered around heights. Rani claimed that she is the shortest actress around but that also means that she is closest to Aamir’s heart. Hearing this line, Aamir really got floored. But she also added that a person’s height is about what they do in their life and with their personalities, and Aamir has a towering personality.
Talking about his height, Aamir mentioned that since the time he entered, the industry was dominated by Amitabh Bachchan who is really tall. The fears about his own height had seeped in then. He also added that people teased him for his height, but thankfully they all loved him. But even now there are things that get him worried about himself, he added.
