In a recent interview, the
Pati Patni Aur Woh actor opened up on her conscious attempt to play such roles. Bhumi, who has also undergone a massive image transformation recently, revealed that she loves to play women that are challenging the existing norms in the society. Saying that her attempt is to always play women who are equal to men, the
Raksha Bandhan actor revealed that this is her way of bringing in more awareness in the society and serves as her contribution to Indian cinema.
Moving on, the actor added that cinema is a powerful tool to portray the ground reality of our society, hence we should use it to our best capacity. Elaborating more, the effervescent actor added that her attempt is to always portray a character that other women can relate to.
