‘Thank God’ box office collection day 4: Ajay Devgn starrer drops further, earns only Rs 2.75 crore – Times of India
After an opening of Rs 7.50 crore, the film’s film’s collection dipped further on Friday as it collected only Rs 2.75 crore nett. At the end of its first four days at the box office, ‘Thank God’ has earned a total of Rs 20 crore nett, which is very low for a Diwali release, reports Boxofficeindia. With these figures, it will be tough for ‘Thank God’ to show much growth in the coming weekend. Helmed by Indra Kumar, ‘Thank God’ narrates the journey of a self-centred man essayed y Sidahrth Malhotra, who lands in Yamlok after an accident. Chitragupta, played by Ajay Devgn, offers him to play a game for another chance at life. ‘Thank God’ features Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
Post ‘Thank God’, Ajay Devgn will be seen in crime thriller ‘Drishyam 2’, which is slated for release on November 18. Apart from this, he also has ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Bholaa’ in the pipeline. While Sidharth Malhotra has action thriller film ‘Yodha’ alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani up for release.
