Sherlyn Chopra to record statement against Sajid Khan with Juhu police today – Exclusive – Times of India

Sherlyn Chopra has been called to Juhu police station to record her statement following the complaint she filed against filmmaker Sajid Khan. Based on Sherlyn’s statement tomorrow, the police will decide the further course of action. This comes on the back of another complaint that was filed against Sherlyn, by Faizan Ansari, who alleged that the final verdict on the #MeToo allegations against Sajid Khan were still not proven.

Sherlyn will be appearing before the Juhu police to record her statement in the complaint she filed in Sajid Khan case. The actress had sent a letter to the police objecting to Sajid Khan’s participation in the Bigg Boss show currently being aired on TV.

The actress’ lawyer Suhail Shroff when contacted told ETimes, “Sherlyn Chopra has been called to the police station to record the statement and accordingly cognizance will be taken against Sajid Khan. Based on Sherlyn’s statement tomorrow, the police will take action against Sajid.”

Sherlyn has filed this complaint on the basis of the #MeToo movement from a few years ago, when multiple women from the entertainment industry had come forward to share their reported accounts of sexual and emotional harassment at the hands of Sajid Khan. In her complaint, Sherlyn has stated that she wants Sajid’s eviction from the show and that he should not be given any opportunity to appear on TV.
