‘Har Har Mahadev’ trailer launch: Subodh Bhave says, ‘I waited 22 years to portray ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ on the big screen’ – Times of India

The release date is inching closer, and today, the film’s Hindi and Marathi trailer was unveiled in the presence of filmmaker Abhijeet Deshpande, Subodh Bhave, Sharad Kelkar, Amruta Khanvilkar and Sayali Sanjeev in Mumbai.

Subodh Bhave interacted with the media during the trailer launch, and also shared his views on portraying ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ on the big screen.

Subodh Bhave, said “I waited 22 years to portray ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’ on the big screen. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a constant source of inspiration not only for Marathi people but also for other speakers. I consider it a matter of luck for me to play the role of such a king”

“As an actor, we always want to do some challenging roles. I am aware that this ‘dream role’ role for me is not only challenging but also a huge responsibility,” Bhave added.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Sharad Kelkar said, “Har Har Mahadev’ is a very special and important movie of my career. I am very proud that I got a chance to play ‘Baji Prabhu Deshpande’. And the credit goes to our director Abhijeet Deshpande,”

The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages. As the film is based on a real battle, it will bring an interesting tale of bravery, sacrifice, friendship and undying grit to attain “Swarajya” to the audience.

It also stars Sayali Sanjeev and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles. The film will be released in theatres across the country on October 25, 2022.
