‘Brahmastra’ box office collection week 2: Ranbir Kapoor starrer continues with its successful run with Rs 215 crore – Times of India

This Ayan Mukerji directorial recorded a drop of 65 per cent in week two. With this 50 crore, the total collection of ‘Brahmastra’ Hindi now stands at Rs 193 crore nett, reports Boxofficeindia. The film is expected to cross the 200 crore nett on its third Friday. Going by the present run of the film, ‘Brahmastra’ Hindi may earn Rs 225 crore nett at the end of its theatrical run. The dubbed versions of the film added Rs 22 crore nett to the film’s collection, with this, ‘Brahmastra’ stands at a total collection of Rs 215 crore nett in all formats.

Beyond the positive reviews, ‘Brahmastra’ faced a lot of flak for its dialogues from netizens, while fans came up with interesting theories for the upcoming parts. Reacting to the audience’s reaction, Ayan had said, “I only focus on the positive energy. I know that various kinds of reviews have come. I haven’t been able to absorb all those reviews, be it negative reviews, fan theories or what people did not like. I will do that when the time comes. I will take all that into consideration before moving on to part two. Shiva and Isha are modern contemporary characters and so I thought that they should come across like the modern generation.
