Ranbir Kapoor REACTS to Alia Bhatt working through her pregnancy; says any kind of criticism is just jealousy – Times of India

Talking about sexist reporting around her, Ranbir told a news portal that Alia is undoubtedly one of the most important actors there’s ever been in the history of Indian cinema. According to him, the work she’s done on the screen or the kind of way she carries herself, the value system that she has and what she stands by, he hasn’t seen that strength in men or women.

Elaborating further, Ranbir added that the way Alia has carried herself through the entire marketing of this film being pregnant, being in the condition that she is – one should only be inspired by that. Any kind of criticism is just jealousy and mischief makers and stupidity and we should not take that seriously, Ranbir told NDTV.

Ranbir also spoke about how her presence makes his life better. Ranbir stated that he respects and admires her as an actor as the person she is apart from being his wife. The actor also revealed that she can get daunting at times because she’s a bit boisterous and she can bully you. According to him, he has got the best manager in the world and that is Alia. If there is anything that he has to get done, he gets it done through her because she’s got the best management skills in the world. Ranbir added that Alia just makes it happen and she just makes his life easy.

The couple, who was last seen in ‘Brahmastra’, is expecting their first baby together.
