Milind Soman says trolls can’t stop a good film as he comes out in support of Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ – Times of India

While Aamir Khan awaits the release of his next ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, he is also concerned about the film’s success due to the ongoing trolling where netizens wrote about boycotting his movie as they were under the impression that he doesn’t like India.

Actor Milind Soman now took to his Twitter handle to react to the ongoing hate Aamir’s film has been receiving. He tweeted, “Trolls can’t stop a good film.”

Apparently, many Twitter users dug up Aamir’s controversial “India’s growing intolerance” statement and circulated it all over the internet. Back in 2015, he made a controversial statement, “Our country is very tolerant, but there are people who spread ill-will”. His ex-wife Kiran Rao, too was slammed for saying that she had considered leaving the country for the safety of their children.

Earlier at a press event, Aamir was asked if this hate and unnecessary trolling bothers him. To which the actor said, “Yes, I feel sad. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their hearts, they believe that I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts, they believe, but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That’s not the case. Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my film.”
