Kartik Aaryan takes a subtle dig at Sara Ali Khan and Karan Johar. Here’s what the actor said… – Times of India

Kartik Aaryan recently took a subtle dig at Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan while answering a question in an interview with a news portal.

The actor was asked to name one thing that is extremely proud of. To which Kartik replied that he is proud of the fact that he is popular among rapid-fire shows. Fans feel this was a subtle dig at Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan’s ongoing season which featured Sara Ali Khan in the second episode.

On the episode, when the filmmaker asked Sara why her ex is her ex, she said, “He’s everybody’s ex.” In the same episode, Karan had stated that Kartik and Sara dated each other. In the previous episode, Ranveer Singh had mimicked Kartik.

While one fan commented on the video, “The same question should be asked to Karan”, another fan wrote, “Did he mean the Ranveer thing or the Sara answer on KWK?”

Speaking about his popularity on the latest season of the show, Kartik had said earlier that he is happy as long as the conversations about him are positive.

Kartik is riding high on the success of his last film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ which also starred Kiara Advani and Tabu in lead roles. The film did record-breaking business at the box office this year.

Next, Kartik has some very interesting projects in his pipeline which include, ‘Freddy’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ and others.
