‘Rashtra Kavach Om’ records a dull opening, Japanese film ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ races ahead with Rs 1.75 crore on day 1 – Times of India
Interestingly, Japanese animation film ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’, which released on Wednesday, has found a massive response at the Indian box office. The film raked in around Rs 1.50-1.75 crore nett. With this collection, it has managed to beat animation film ‘Minions’. The collection of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ dropped on Friday, but its opening hints that the film is going to have a strong run at the box office.
On the other hand, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ continued with its positive run at the box office. The film witnessed a slight drop in collection on Friday morning, but is expected to make up for the same in the afternoon shows and ahead.
Commenting on the box office performance of ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’, Varun had recently told ETimes, “Box office numbers are very important and everyone’s trying to get back to normal times. The times that we are right now in, the kind of love ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ is receiving, the kind of response it is getting the world over, is amazing. The box office is also happening and we’re getting so much love from people.”
