Jeremy Stephens defeated Myles Price at PFL 4 and fans had a lot to say.
PFL 4 saw the second fight of long-time UFC veteran and now PFL lightweight Jeremy Stephens. Stephens defeated Myles Price at the event, sporting a new look; having shaved off his trademark beard and all of his hair just to make weight for the bout.
Stephens wasn’t coming in on the best of runs, either. He had already lost his first fight with the promotion and was 3-8-1 in his last 12, and was looking like it was time to be done.
Fans of PFL, Stephens and MMA in general drew a lot of comments on his looks and the fact that he was on a tragically long losing streak and were on hand during and after the fight to share their comments not only on Stephens’ look, but the fact that his win was entirely surprising.
Stephens is currently fourth in the PFL playoff chase at lightweight and may be able to hold on to eek into the playoffs but there’s still a lot of action left.
