Fans lined the streets to welcome Liverpool home hours after their Champions League final heartache as Jurgen Klopp and his Premier League stars paraded their FA Cup and Carabao Cup trophies on an open-top bus tour.
The Reds could not capture a treble as they were beaten by the only goal of the game against Real Madrid at the Stade de France on Saturday, but they received a rapturous reception as they weaved through Liverpool to celebrate a sensational season.
Manager Klopp was seen grinning with his players, who missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City on the final day of the season despite beating Wolves at Anfield.
