Big Menswear Energy: Marine Serre to Debut at Paris Men’s Week, Plus the Return of Comme des Garçons and Junya Watanabe
Tuesday, June 21 is a buffer between the all-digital day in Milan for those who are commuting to the French capital. Woolmark Prize finalist Egonlab and the LVMH Prize long-listed Bluemarble are both live on the schedule today.
Wednesday, June 22 opens with Bianca Saunders at 10 am and ends with Y/Project at 8 pm. In between are shows from Lemaire, Givenchy, Walter van Beirendonck, and Rhude, plus presentations from brands including Isabel Marant. A physical presentation from newcomer brand Jeanne Friot will also be well worth taking in.
Thursday, June 23 sees Issey Miyake, Rick Owens, and Louis Vuitton show in quick succession. Amiri, Dries Van Noten, and Ami show later in the day, around the Yohji Yamamoto digital-only presentations.
Friday, June 24 is an especially juicy one. Junya Watanabe, Paul Smith, Mihara Yasuhiro, Dior Men, and Comme des Garçons are amongst the main shows on the menu, before New York’s Kid Super closes the day’s live proceedings with what, if his films are anything to go by, will be a full-on experience.
On Saturday, June 25 Craig Green starts the day bright and early before Loewe, Hermès, Kolor, Casablanca, and finally that big Marine Serre men’s week debut and its huge public audience closes out the evening.
Sunday, June 26 is no day of rest. Instead we will be at Kenzo by 11 am to see how Nigo and the team follow up his last-season-highlight debut. Around presentations from labels including Feng Chen Wang the schedule continues with shows from Doublet, Kiko Kostadinov, and Thom Browne. Plus others TBC—because the calendar, remember, remains provisional and open to change up almost until the last.
