Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni confirm Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding date: ‘Shaadi kal hai’ – Times of India

Now, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni have confirmed their wedding date. Neetu and Riddhima were seen posing for the shutterbugs. When Neetu was asked to say a few words on her to-be daughter-in-law, she said, “Main kya bolu, she is the best”. Riddhima also showered praise on her to-be sister-in-law. “Bahut cute hai yaar, doll jaisi”, she added.

Sharing their excitement with the media, Neetu and Riddhima both confirmed the date of Ranbir-Alia’s wedding. “Shaadi kal hai”, they told the media.

While Neetu looked stunning as ever in her white saree with multi-coloured floral threadwork, Riddhima stunned in a stylish black-and white outfit. The mother-daughter duo was seen posing for the paparazzi as they returned from Alia’s mehendi ceremony at Vastu.

In the mehendi ceremony, celebrities and family members like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Pooja Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan and many others made their presence felt.

After the mehndi celebration, the couple has now geared up for second round of festivities. ETimes has been told that the couple will not be having the traditional sangeet ceremony. A source revealed, “There’s no surety of the sangeet but pheras of the couple will happen. According to the muhurat and it may happen tomorrow or day after.”

ETimes also revealed earlier in the day that Ranbir Kapoor’s baaraat will start from his house in Krishna Raj to Vastu, which is where the dulhan will be waiting for the pheras.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the couple will be sharing the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
