Here’s why Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had to strike off foreign destination and Panvel farmhouse for special wedding celebration -Exclusive – Times of India

Alia is currently shooting in Panvel for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. To avoid the paparazzi glare days before the wedding, she chose to stay at her bungalow there. Alia has a special bungalow, Shalia in that part of Mumbai’s outskirts.

ETimes has learnt that sometime in late 2020, Alia and Ranbir were planning a grand marriage overseas and at that time special wedding functions were planned at Alia’s Panvel bungalow, too. But due to the pandemic and several other factors, those plans did not come to be.

Nonetheless, the couple has finally decided to tie the knot this week in an intimate affair. Their low-key wedding will be attended by close friends and family members. The wedding preparations have already kick-started and fans are just waiting for the pictures to come out from Alia and Ranbir’s wedding festivities.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is currently busy shooting for a grand song with Shraddha Kapoor. They will be seen in Luv Ranjan’s untitled next. Ranbir and Alia will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in ‘Brahmastra’. The film releases this year in September.
