‘No eye contact, no kiss either? Clear rift IMO’: How Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma’s fans get back at trolls

It was surely a tiring day for Indian bowlers at Headingley in Leeds as England scored 432 runs on Day 3 of the third Test, but one picutre got fans happy.

Not did the picture just brighten up their day, but also got fans of India’s most-followed cricketers – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s fans united.

The incident took place during Thursday’s gameplay when Mohammed Shami had scalped Jonny Bairstow for 29 in the 108th over. 

Shami had delivered a length ball and Bairstow gave into it and nudged it a little. The outside edge was thick enough to create a deviation. Virat Kohli, who was standing at first slip, did well to go low and secured the catch.

While the wicket was much needed for India, it was the celebration that got everyone happy. As soon as the Indian skipper took the catch, Kohli was seen celebrating with Rohit Sharma who was standing right next to him. The two were seen embracing for a while and it was all smiling.

Soon enough, fans of the two batsmen used this moment to troll the haters who are sure there is a potential rift between Kohli and Sharma in the dressing room.

As for the clash, India have 34 runs and have lost a wicket before lunch. KL Rahul, who had faced many encounters, was finally seen getting out by Craig Overton for just 8 runs. Currently, India trail by 320 runs.
