Cholamandalam investment posts 58% growth in Q4 disbursements
Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. Ltd. has reported a 58% growth in disbursements for the fourth quarter ended March to ₹12,718 crore.
The financial services arm of the Murugappa Group reported 36% growth to ₹35,489 crore in FY22 against ₹26,043 crore, it said in a regulatory filing.
Vehicle finance disbursement business grew by 43% to ₹8,785 crore in Q4 and by 26% in FY22 to ₹25,439 crore. Loan against property disbursements grew by 57% to ₹1,870 crore in Q4 and by 53% to ₹5,536 crore in FY22.
Disbursements in home loans stood at ₹549 crore for Q4 and ₹1,896 crore for full year, marking a growth of 2% and 23% respectively YoY. Besides, the new businesses started last year together made disbursals of ₹1,514 crore for Q4 and ₹2,618 crore in FY 22.
Collection efficiency on billing improved across all product segments and stood at 138% in Q4 against 120%. This will result in strengthening the asset quality position of the company, it said.
CIFCL continues to hold a strong liquidity position with ₹5,575 crore as cash balance, with a total liquidity position of ₹7,400 crore (including undrawn sanctioned lines). The asset-liability maturity is comfortable with no negative cumulative mismatches across all time buckets, it said.
