13 IoT and hardware startups to receive Rs 7.5 lakh each from MeitY

Chennai: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) and innovation ecosystem T-Hub announced on Thursday that 13 Indian startups in the hardware and internet of things (IoT) sectors selected for ’s Scale Up programme will receive a grant of Rs 7.5 lakh each from MeitY.

This is a partial grant that has been disbursed to startups that have demonstrated proof of concept, built a customer base, and exhibited the potential to scale across the country, T-Hub said. The balance will be disbursed after they complete the programme.

The selected startups are Bariflo Labs, Startoon Labs, Ayasta Technologies, BluArmor, Detect Technologies, Greenies, MLIT Solutions, Mobilytics, Nemocare Wellness, Rizel Automotive, SatSure Analytics India, Swaayatt Robots and RoadMetrics.

“T-Hub’s collaboration with MeitY is targeted to support startups that are ready for the growth phase and make the best use of the grants provided. The selected startups now can leverage the provided leading corporates and specialised mentors and continue the acceleration journey for respective businesses,” Srinivas Rao Mahankali, CEO of T-Hub, said in a statement.
