Canadiens’ Jonathan Drouin out indefinitely with upper-body injury

Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin will be out indefinitely after sustaining an upper-body injury, the team announced Wednesday.

Drouin will continue to be evaluated by the club’s medical staff.

The 26-year-old from Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Que., is third on the team in scoring with 20 points, six goals and 14 assists, in 32 games this season.

Meanwhile, forwards Brendan Gallagher (lower-body injury) and Paul Byron (hip) remain out of the lineup, however, both could return this weekend, according to head coach Dominique Ducharme.
