From being a late-night saviour to the best go-to quick dish, noodles, in all its forms has been a true forever dish for each one of us. With the recent advancements in the culinary landscape of the world, we have seen the humble noodles evolve every day – cup noodles, frozen noodles, dry noodles, and soupy noodles to name some. Most of the news these days revolving around noodles has to do with how it’s eaten, or a bizarre dish that’s created out of it, right? However, what we have here today has to do everything with noodles but nothing with eating it; confused? Let us clarify. An Instagram video that has rapidly gained 11 million views in just a couple of days shows a bowl of noodles being used to knit! Yes, you read that right; a long patch of noodles is being knitted by a person in this now-viral video.

The video has been uploaded on Instagram by “@reelsemperor” and has garnered a whopping 11million views, 368k likes, and 6,059 comments. Originally uploaded by “@satisfyingmmiixx”, the video has taken social media by storm. The video has been captioned “Noodle knitting”; take a look at it here:

The weirdly satisfying video has been taking viewers by surprise. While it amuses one half of the audience, the other half is confused why would one waste so much food and effort on this? Some commented saying that the lady knitting these noodles is just bored and jobless to be wasting so much time. “Such a jobless work of all”, “How bored does one have to be”, “They was too bored”.
Some made funny comparisons to themselves like “Reminds me of my lockdown days having all the time in the world” and “My dad: stop playing with your food… Me: *knits my noodles*”
And many were in support of the knitted noodles. Some comments left in support were – “The satisfaction of biting into that”, “I wanna eat it tho it looks so good like that oop”, “I kinda wanna eat that”. Others were sure it would taste good and commented “Ngl that looks like it slaps with flavour”, “I’d do this just so I can eat 1 big noodle” and “That’s gonna have the best texture when they eat”.
